CV Visit Coach

Robins' Nest was recently named a Top Workplace by Philadelphia Network and now, we are looking for candidates to make our team even stronger. We are currently hiring a Visit Coach to join our Creative Visitation Team.
As an integral part of the visitation team, the Visit Coach will provide supervised visits between children in foster care and their parents, relatives, and siblings with the goals of promoting permanency, maintaining the family-child bond, and improving parent-child interactions. Visit Coaches help parents appropriately identify and meet their child's needs during visits, and work to teach, model and coach parents on appropriate and effective parenting skills.
Creative Visitation's Visit Coach provides weekly visits for up to 6 months to children, birth to 18, and their families in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties. Referrals are made through the Division of Child Protection and Permanency.
A Bachelors degree is required for the Visit Coach position.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, use of an insured vehicle.

Must regularly be able to see, speak and hear.
Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, bend, use hands and arms and must occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
Must be sensitive, flexible and responsive to gender, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, religion, age, sexual orientation or any other special needs as reflected in the ability to communicate with staff and/or clients.
Assume an active role in agency events.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
