This could be just the place to start your career in retail management. As a caf? manager, your Barnes & Noble College store will be an important part of the school community. You'll have oversight responsibility for the Caf? and every employee working within it, ensuring that your caf? is operationally sound in accordance with Barnes & Noble College standards. This includes monthly gross margin review and understanding. You'll also lead your store's operations, staffing, customer satisfaction, product quality, financial performance and team development. You will ensure that your staff is well informed, well trained and executing processes properly by providing constant training, direction and coaching to baristas, as well as, delegation and follow up to ensure the completion of assigned tasks. Qualifications:
It is preferred that have at least one year of supervisory experience, preferably in food service and a minimum of one year of other food service experience. You should have strong written and verbal communication skills and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel. You are expected to spend a majority of your time on the selling floor, which requires physical activity including lifting, bending, walking and standing for long periods of time. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
