Temporary Part Time Hourly Program Assistant (University Advising Services)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create social media content and post to multiple social media platforms Make updates to all division web pages through the university's web content management system, Cascade Proactively monitor division webpages to guarantee that website content is timely and accurate throughout the academic year and make updates as needed using the university's web content management system (Cascade) Develop creative ways to promote division initiatives to incoming and returning students Develop promotional and educational materials for events and initiatives Schedule classroom presentations Assist in the oversight of student workers within Student Support Services Collect and organize pertinent data (including end of year assessment information) related to the various programs offered within the division Engage in professional development opportunities, including staying current with retention related issues and initiatives Assist with campus events such as Open Houses, Accepted Student Receptions, and Orientations Other duties and support tasks as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Experience with website and social media content creation/management A successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills Hours Position may require some weekend activities This temporary, part-time position is assigned no more than twenty-five (25) hours per week and is not to exceed 944 hours per fiscal year.
